Game Plan
The Game Plan
What is The Game Plan for life?
Step #1 - Realize that God loves you. John 3:16 says "for God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life".
Step #2 - Realize you are separated from God because of sin. Romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Our solution is to try to earn our own way to heaven through good works, being religious, being moral, etc. According to Proverbs 14:12, "there is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death". God's solution is a relationship with Jesus Christ who died on the Cross and rose fomr the grave, paying the penalty for our sin. 1 Timothey 2:5 says "for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus". Ephesians 2:8-9 further states that "for it is by grace you ahve been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works so that no one can boast".
Step #3 - Receive Jesus Christ as personal Savior. Romans 10:9 states that "if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved". You may wish to pray this prayer. "Dear God, I now believe that you love me, died on the cross and rose from the dead for my sins. I admit that I have sinned and I right now ask You to come into my life, forgive me, and take me to heaven whenever I die. I want to follow You as Lord for the rest of my life."
